90年代の古着ブームを思い出す
2020年のネットフリックスオリジナルドラマ「ノットオーケー」を観た。私のこのドラマの最大の関心事は登場人物たちのファッション、車、部屋、雑貨店、などの70年代を思わせる映像。
このドラマを観ていると自分が高校生だった頃のアメカジ古着ブームを思い出す。
ドラマの映像を観ているとまた古着を買いたい、着てみたいという衝動にかられる。
ストーリーはそれなりに面白いですが、正直二の次です。
最近の私の服装
3～4年前ぐらいからでしょうか？私の着る服はだんだんとUNIQLOで買うことが多くなって行きました。理由は年令による見た目の変化に対してカジュアルな服が似合わなくなって来たこと、UNIQLOのクオリティが上がって来たことなどがあります。現在では所有している服の90％近くがUNIQLOです。なんせどこにでも店舗があるし安いし数年前からはUNIQLO U（ユニクロ ユー）などもメジャーとなり、デザイン性の高い服も簡単に手に入ります（人気商品はすぐなくなりますが）。
それに年齢的にも、アメカジのようなカジュアルなファッションよりもミニマルな定番ファッションが一番合うだろうと言うとこで、気づけばそんなシンプルな定番ばかりを着ることがほとんどになっていました。
しかし、正直最近はこの流れにも飽きてきました。
シンプルなのは良いのですが、変化がなさすぎて飽きてくるのです。
さらには基本的な定番ファッションなので（白シャツなど）職場でファッションがカブる事もチラホラ、特にカブりたくない人とカブるのはキツイです。
かといって今からアメリカ古着は難しい
「I Am Not Okay with This」に刺激を受けて、アメリカ古着熱が再燃した私ですが、正直40代でアメリカ古着を着こなすのは結構レベルが高いのではと思われます。
簡単に言うと「おじさんが子供服を着る」事になるのですから、それなりに考えた着こなしでなければ失敗します。
そもそも昔と違って自分の住んでいる地域に、古着屋がどこにあるのかほぼ思い浮かびません。みなもう無くなってしまっています。それに良い感じの古着があったとしても値段が高そうです、という事でサイズやコンディションなど自分に合ったものを手に入れるのはかなり大変そうです。
小物から攻めてみた
このように古着熱が再燃しているけど、簡単に手が出せない私は、まずは小物から狙ってみることにしました。
「I Am Not Okay with This」の中で主人公のシドニー（ソフィア・リリス）が時折左腕の手首につけているブレスレット。
個人的にも以前から愛用していたブレスレットを無くしていたので、欲しいと思っていたところです。
しかし、現状どこにあんな感じのブレスレットが売られているのか？少し探してみましたがまるで見つかりません。1つwakamiというブランドのブレスレットは知っていたので
買おうかとも思っていたのですが、ちょっと高いとも感じていました。
そんな時、ありました！エイチアンドエムに！
値段も599円と安い！
こういったものはすぐ見つけられそうで意外とそうでもないのですね、季節にもよるんでしょうが。
帰ってきて早速つけてみたのですが、いい感じです。まだ素材がほぐれていない為か硬い感じがしますが、時間とともに柔らかくなりそうです。つける時に面倒そうだなと思っていたのですが紐をひっぱれば簡単にわっかの大きさが調整できるのですごく簡単です。
ゆっくり吟味して考えます、本物の古着も、もちろん良いのですが実際買うのは大変そうなので身近にあるショップでそれらしい着こなしができるのか、考えるもの楽しそうです。
